How we compare
Each town lists the companies that run whale watching trips themselves. Booking sites and resellers aren't included.
For every trip we record the lowest adult price the operator shows, trip length, the boat as they describe it, group size, minimum age, what is included, where it leaves from, the cancellation policy, and what the operator promises if no whales are seen. Anything the operator doesn't publish stays blank. We don't fill gaps with estimates.
Season calendars come from official, scientific and operator sources, linked under each calendar. Peak months are where those sources agree sightings are most reliable. Animals don't follow calendars exactly, so treat the season as a guide.
Tables sort by price, lowest first, and you can re-sort them. Placement can't be bought. The date we last checked is on every page, and the operator's booking page always has the final price.
Operators: if something on your listing is wrong or out of date, send us the correction.
